[Translator]
Position	Long-term Freelance Translator
Location	Company Headquarters, 2nd Office (or 1st Office)
Working Days	Monday-Friday (in some cases, you may work from home according to your schedule)
Working Hours	8 hours daily between 9 AM and 8 PM (negotiable)
Duties	Performing bidirectional translations (English to Japanese, Japanese to English), checking translations, translating with TRADOS or Felix, drafting a quality control glossary, managing clients, answering inquiries in person and on the phone, and related work.
Compensation	￥1,600+/hr, or ￥250,000 monthly. Dependent on experience and ability. Monthly transportation expenses covered up to ￥20,000.
Qualifications	Ability to translate ~2,000 English words into Japanese or ~6,000 Japanese characters into English per day. Preference given to those with specialized knowledge in a field such as automotives, finance, IT, market research, medicine, etc. Experience with using translation support tools such as TRADOS Language ability levels allowing for examination of Japanese-English or English-Japanese translations for final review, revision, or quality evaluations Ability to provide customer support regarding quality control Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint (required) TOEIC score above 900 >3 years translation experience (required)

[Translation Support Tool Engineer or Engineer-in-Training]
Position	Long-term Translation Support Tool Engineer or Engineer-in-Training
Location	Company Headquarters, 2nd Office (or 1st Office)

Duties	Providing training, support, and troubleshooting to at-home freelance staff using translation support tools such as TRADOS or Felix, planning and managing the deployment schedule of said tools, contacting TRADOS merchants and maintaining a question/answer database, performing translation checks and reviews (English-Japanese, Japanese-English), supporting clients, translators, visitors, and callers, and related work.
Compensation	(Position 1) TRADOS expert (skilled engineer): ~￥2,000/hr, or ￥280,000 monthly. Dependent on experience and ability. (2) Intermediate: ~￥1,300/hr, or ￥230,000 monthly. Dependent on experience and ability. (3) Beginner (Engineer-in-Training): ~￥1,000/hr. Dependent on experience and ability. Monthly transportation expenses covered up to ￥20,000.
Qualifications	(Positions 1, 2) Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint (required) >3 years experience with TRADOS (required) English communication skills Problem-solving ability (Position 3) Proactive interest in learning practical PC skills *Even without special experience in translation support tools, candidates who display strong experience and aptitude in dealing with PC’s may be considered for Position 2 (Intermediate).

Position	Long-term Translation Support Tool Coordinator

Duties	Planning and managing the deployment schedule of translation support tools such as TRADOS or Felix (managing projects using said software, serving as point of contact for involved translators, etc.), performing translation reviews (English-Japanese, Japanese-English), contacting TRADOS merchants and maintaining a question/answer database, supporting clients, translators, visitors, and callers, and related work.
Compensation	~￥1,000/hr. Dependent on experience and ability. Monthly transportation expenses covered up to ￥20,000.
Qualifications	Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint. Ideally experience using TRADOS and/or Felix. Interest in languages. >3 years’ working experience. (Required) Aptitude with computing skills.
