Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between "simultaneous interpreting" and "consecutive interpreting"?
Consecutive Interpreting
-Each time the speaker pauses, the interpreter takes the time to translate what has just been said.
(This will roughly double the length of your meeting.)

Simultaneous Interpreting
-The interpreter provides a translation for the speaker's words as they are being spoken.
(This will not significantly lengthen your meeting.)
-For large-scale international conferences, this might require a booth, receiver, headsets, and other interpreting communications equipment (e.g., Panaguide).
